The XI, Heritage, Young Guns claim wins

SHILLONG, Dec 23: Young Guns, The XI and Heritage registered victories in their respective matches on day seven of the 9th Ardhendu Chaudhuri Memorial Invitational Tennis Ball Day & Night Cricket Tournament, here on Thursday.
In the first match of the day, Young Guns won the toss and chose to bowl first against Sportive Jr, restricting them to 34 runs in 4.4 overs. In reply, Young Guns scored 36/4 in 5.2 overs. Md Junai was adjudged Player-of-the-Match.
Later, Tagore Club fielded first after winning the toss against The XI, who posted 62 runs in 6 overs. Tagore Club were restricted to 42 in 6 overs. Uttam Chanda was the Player-of-the-Match.
Heritage secured a huge 74-run win against MCC Jr. Put in to bat first, Heritage scored 129 for no wickets in 6 overs. MCC Jr batted well but could only reach 55/4 in 6 overs. Paritosh Roy was the Player-of-the-Match for his 68 runs, incidentally the first half-century of the tournament.
