United Brothers, Rilbong Super Kings, Skywalkers register victories

SHILLONG, Dec 26: Six matches of the 9th Ardhendu Chaudhuri Memorial Invitational Tennis Ball Day & Night Cricket Tournament were played on Sunday. In the first match, United Brothers beat Superkings by 3 wickets. Choosing to field first, United Brothers restricted Superkings to 45 runs in 6 overs before getting 47 runs in 4 overs with three wickets to spare. Rohit Roy was the Player-of-the-Match.
In the second match, Skywalkers beat Harisabha Young Brigade by 31 runs. Skywalkers scored 47 runs in 5.2 overs before restricting their opponents to 16 runs in 4.2 overs. Kaushik Das was Player-of-the-Match.
Later, Keating Road beat Five Star Club by 3 wickets. Five Star won the toss and batted first, scoring 27 runs in 6 overs. Keating Road then managed to score 30 runs in 4.2 overs with three wickets to spare. Sanjeev Chettri was the Player-of-the-Match.
In the fourth match, Trap Star Utd beat NWCC by 27 runs. Trap Star batted first and scored an imposing 68 runs in 6 overs before restricting NWCC to 41 runs in the allotted 6 overs. Wanbiang Nongrum was the Player-of-the-Match.
Mawbah Strikers defeated BHMSCC by 49 runs after scoring a mammoth 109 runs in 6 overs after batting first. In reply, BHMSCC could get only 54 runs in 6 overs. Ankit SHarma was the Player-of-the-Match.
In the last match of the day, Rilbong Super Kings won by 3 wickets against Roshni who batted first and scored 41 runs in 5.3 overs. Rilbong Super Kings then got to 46 runs in 5.3 overs. Suraj Singh was the Player-of-the-Match.
