Trainee drowned in NEPA swimming pool

Shillong, March 9:  A trainee in North East Police Academy (NEPA) was drowned while taking swimming class in the pool in NEPA campus near here this evening.

Police said there was no external injury on the body of the deceased and it was sent for post-mortem in Shillong Civil Hospital. Further details were being awaited.
