Unclaimed body
On July 14 around 1.30 am, an unidentified man was found lying unconscious near bus stand at Police Bazar. He was subsequently shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital but was declared dead by the attending MO. Inquest and autopsy were conducted and the body has been now kept at the hospital morgue for identification and claim. According to a statement, the deceased is approximately 45-50 years old and 5.3 ft tall, his complexion is swarthy and face shape is oval. Meanwhile, all concerned have been asked to contact 0364-2222214/2222215 for identification and claim.
