Two go missing in city

SHILLONG, Aug 2: Two persons in Shillong have gone missing after running away from a halfway home.
According to a statement, one Manbha Myrthong of Langkyrding, Mawdiangdiang, lodged a police complaint that one Md. Ali Hussain (44), who has been suffering from chronic schizophrenia, had run away from a halfway home on July 26, and has been missing thereafter. The missing person has brown complexion, oval face and thin built, is 5’6” tall, and was last seen wearing white kurta, a pair of blue jeans and slippers. Anyone aware of Hussain’s whereabouts has been asked to contact 0364-2222214 or 9402167876.
In another complaint, Myrthong also informed that one Devar Ape (31), who is mentally ill, ran away from a halfway home on July 28.
The missing person has a dark complexion, oval-shaped face and normal built, is 5’3” tall, and was last seen wearing blue sweater, maroon shirt, a pair of blue jeans and white sneakers without lace. Anyone aware of the missing person’s whereabouts has been asked to contact 03642222214 or 03642230402.
