Three judokas to represent state at 36th Natl Games

SHILLONG, Aug 23: Three Judokas from Meghalaya have been selected to take part in the forthcoming 36th National Games scheduled to be held in Gujarat from September 27 to to October 10. The Judokas were selected after their recent performances at the Senior National Judo Championship held in Lucknow from August 16-20. A total of 16 players will take part in each weight category. The three judokas from Meghalaya are Shuvam Kumar Singh (-81 kgs) who will compete in the men’s category along with Ibadishisha Marwein (-48kgs) and Rishica Iawrod (-52 kgs) in the women’s events.
