Expenditure observers arrive in state

SHILLONG/NONGSTOIN/NONGPOH/TURA/MAWKYRWAT, Feb 1: Election Expenditure Observers have arrived in the state to ensure free and fair assembly polls across all districts.
The observers for East Khasi Hills are stationed at the State Convention Centre in Shillong.
In Nongstoin, election functionaries met the District Magistrate of West Khasi Hills, Garod LSN Dykes, accompanied by the ROs, AROs, magistrates, Assistant Expenditure Observer, Accounting Team and others at Conference Hall DC’s office, Nongstoin.
The election expenditure observers for Ri-Bhoi are stationed at Circuit House, Nongpoh (Old Building).
Meanwhile, the Election Expenditure Observer for North Garo Hills, Prashant Kumar Sinha, has arrived and is stationed at Resubelpara Circuit House.
A meeting was also held at the Multipurpose Hall, Deputy Commissioner’s office, in Mawkyrwat, South West Khasi Hills, where the election observer gave details to the district machinery to ensure free and fair polls.
