Shillong, March 14: Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav today dismissed the claims of Enforcement Directorate (ED) of discovering Rs 600 crore proceeds of crime.

He alleged that after conducting raids at his Delhi residence, the sleuths of ED waited for “clearance from above”. He was talking to the media outside Bihar state assembly.

He said that the pictures of jewellery belonging to his sisters and their in-laws were presented as recovered items. He said, “The director repeats the same script for these central agencies. He should be changed be it the Home Minister Amit Shah or someone else” Yadav said.

The ED recently raided Yadav’s residence and seized unaccounted cash of Rs 1 crore and detected proceeds of crime worth Rs 600 crore. Raid was conducted in land for a job scam in which the entire family including former Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and his wife Rabri Devi have been questioned.
