Don’t study for hours, study regularly, says Shillong topper

SHILLONG, May 26: MBoSE SSLC examination second rank holder from St Margaret’s Higher Secondary School, Jyotipriya Bhattacharjee, believes that it is not necessary to study for hours to do well in examinations.
“One does not need to study 24 hours a day. You need to understand the concepts and study regularly. Just be regular and do your best. Just pray to God since nothing can be done without God’s blessings,” a jubilant Bhattarcharjee said.
The third rank holder from the same school, Tanushri Acharjee, said she aspires to appear the UPSC civil services examination and become IAS or IPS officer.
Informing that she will take up Arts at the higher secondary level, Acharjee said it is important to draw a balance between studies and exrtacurricular activities.
Arguing that the latter is also very important, Acharjee continued, “I am not a person who focuses only on studies. I love fashion. I am also active in social media and I have a personal account on Instagram,” she said.
It may be mentioned that 11th position holder Raina Pradhan is also a student of St. Margaret’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong.
