Shillong, Sept 7: Former senior BJP leader in Meghalaya, H M Shangpliang will join theruling National People’s Party (NPP) on September 13 next.
Informing this Shangpliang said that NPP is the only party that is the future of the State. To a query whether he is joining the NPP to contest the Lok Sabha polls, he said that he was joining the NPP without any conditions and he would shoulder whatever responsibilities would be given to him.
He also informed that his supporters will be joining the party on September 12.
