Police bring back woman who eloped with factory worker

NONGSTOIN, Sep 28: One Edalin Khardewsaw of Riwiang village in West Khasi Hills, who had gone missing allegedly with a factory worker identified as Mridul Bora of Shakambari Ferro Alloy, was brought back by the police to her village.
It may be recalled that a missing report was filed on September 26.
After observing all formalities including medical examination, she is undergoing counselling at Nongstoin.
Sources said that Edalin and Mridul Bora had eloped.
Meanwhile, the HYC and the village authority of Riwiang have allowed the Shakambari Ferro Alloy Factory to open as usual.
