Two dead, one hurt in Jorabat road accident

Nongpoh, Dec 15: In a tragic road accident that unfolded at the Jorabat over-bridge today, two young lives were tragically lost while another sustained severe injuries. The incident occurred at approximately 3 pm when a motorcycle bearing registration number AS 01EJ 7870, en route from Sonapur to Guwahati, collided with a truck registered as NL 01AE 1887. The victims of this heart-wrenching incident were three students from Don Bosco University, all riding on the ill-fated motorcycle. Jorabat traffic police rushed the victims to Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for urgent medical attention.
The two students who lost their lives have been identified as Kethosetuo M, hailing from Nagaland, and Shreyan Roy, a resident of Assam. The third student, identified as Kethosetuo Kratsutsu from Nagaland, is currently undergoing treatment at GMCH for the injuries sustained in the collision.
The place of occurrence of the accident falls reportedly within the jurisdiction of Assam Police.
