Shillong, Feb 15: The Assam Rifles Dronacharya Sports Complex in Laitkor, Shillong, resonated with excitement and energy as the colorful opening ceremony of the Khelo India Women’s Taekwondo League, Phase-I, took place on Thursday.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Lt General P.C. Nair, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, PHD, Director General of Assam Rifles, who inaugurated the league, adding prestige to the occasion.L Sokun Singh, Vice President of the Taekwondo Federation of India and in charge of the first phase of the 1st Khelo India Women’s Taekwondo League, delivered a warm welcome speech to the dignitaries and invitees. The event showcased the exceptional talent and skills of the participating athletes.
