Govt wants NEIGRIHMS to start PG course for Meghalaya doctors: Ampareen

Shillong, June 27: Meghalaya Health Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh today said that the state government wants NEIGRIHMS to start PG courses for doctors of Meghalaya.

Talking to media persons after taking a review, Lyngdoh said that the government would soon approach Union Government seeking Institute of National Importance (INI) status for NEIGRIHMS.

She also said that the government wants to make sure that all health sub-centres in the state operate even though there are concerns for power availability and road connectivity in some centres.
