State climbers to undertake training in Itanagar

SHILLONG, Aug 5: MeSCMA has selected Balawanhabor Rynjah, a student from Sankardev College and Ricky Rani from Lad Mawphlang to attend the route setters and belayers training course at Itanagar, organised by the Indian Mountaineering Foundation North East Zone in collaboration with Department of Sports, Tourism and Youth Affairs, Govt of Arunachal Pradesh. The ongoing training scheduled from 3-7 August 2024.Rynjah and Rani have been sponsored by the Directorate of Sports and Youth AffairsThe training program includes comprehensive hands-on sessions where individuals are mastering the skills required for safe and efficient route setting and belaying. These training glimpses highlight the dedication and effort put forth by the trainees and instructors alike, fostering a strong foundation in climbing safety and techniques.
