Odisha varsity gets centre of Theatre for Management

SHILLONG, Aug 21: A Centre of Theatre for Management was inaugurated at ASBM University in Odisha during a two-day National Discourse on Theatre, ‘Abhinaya: Wisdom and Reflections’.
According to a statement here, the programme was organised by the School of Liberal Arts of ASBM University in association with Dhauli Review Trust, and was attended by eminent guests.
Apart from the inauguration, an English translation of Odia masterpiece ‘Nali Pan Rani O’ Kala Pan Tika’ was also released during the programme.
“The National Discourse on Theatre consisted of two technical sessions on Role of Theatre in Education and Theatre and Society. The event was attended by a large number of drama and theatre groups from all over Odisha in addition to the faculty members and students of the University,” the statement said. (Sponsored)
