Programme
Synod College, Shillong, on Saturday organised Graduation Day 2024 to celebrate the achievements of the outgoing college students. According to a statement, the programme was attended by a total of 500 graduates as well as the teaching and non-teaching staff, college principal, IQAC coordinator and president of the college governing body. Director of Tourism Department, CD Diengdoh, who was also part of the programme, acknowledged the hard work and commended the outgoing students on their performance. On the occasion, special awards were also given away to students who made it to the merit list of the North-Eastern Hill University.

Programme
The Sankardev Cultural Centre, Shillong, will observe the Sankardev Tithi on Wednesday at 9 am on the premises of Sankardev Namghar, which will be followed by a Bhoana — a traditional form of stage play with religious messages, written in the early sixteenth century.
