Training prog on knitting, embroidery

SHILLONG, Sep 26: In a bid to empower local youth by equipping them with essential vocational skills that can lead to economic independence and sustainable livelihoods, a six-day training programme on ‘Handmade Knitting and Embroidery’ was organised by NEHU – Deen Dayal Upadhyay Community College for Skill Development, Wahiajer, West Jaintia Hills, a constituent college of North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU).
The training programme culminated on Wednesday, marking the 108th birth anniversary of (L) Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay.
