Shillong, March 17: The East Khasi Hills Cricket Association Inter-Office cum Corporate League T20 Tournament 2025 witnessed an exciting contest on Day 7, as a rain-curtailed match saw Ri-Bhoi Office Combine secure a commanding seven-wicket victory over Sohra Post Office.
Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Sohra Post Office posted 94/5 in 15 overs, with Michael Roy Shongdiar leading the charge, scoring 32 off 36 balls. The standout bowler for Ri-Bhoi was Pankaj Roy, who delivered an impressive spell, picking up 3 wickets for just 9 runs in 3 overs.
In response, Ri-Bhoi Office Combine chased down the target in just 6.5 overs, finishing at 96/2.
Rejiedstar Marbaniang played a blistering knock, smashing 42 off 18 balls, while Miquel Obando Nongbri managed to pick up one wicket for 22 runs in 2 overs.
With a stellar all-round performance, Pankaj Roy was named Player of the Match for his match-winning bowling effort.
