SHILLONG, April 3: The first-ever Sunburn Summer Fest in the state capital will feature a stellar line-up of global and homegrown artistes.
Leading the charge are Vini Vici, Dimitri Vegas, DubVision and Third Party, each bringing their signature sounds to Shillong. They will be joined by talented Indian artistes, including Siana Catherine, Gary Daniel, Reuel Roy, Quills and DJ Aedrian.
Asia’s biggest electronic dance music (EDM) festival, Sunburn, is making its grand debut in Meghalaya with Sunburn Summer Fest on May 10 in Shillong.
Shillong has emerged as a major destination for live music, with past Sunburn events featuring artistes like Alan Walker and Afrojack drawing massive crowds.
Recognising the city’s vibrant music culture, Sunburn is bringing this new summer festival experience to the Northeast. “Sunburn has always been about pushing boundaries. Shillong has shown incredible love for international music, and we’re thrilled to introduce Sunburn Summer Fest here. This is just the beginning,” Karan Singh, CEO of Sunburn, said.
It may be mentioned that the festival will feature immersive décor, interactive art installations and stunning light displays, creating a sensory experience beyond just music.
