MLCU ranks 7th among top Indian institutes

SHILLONG, April 29: Martin Luther Christian University (MLCU) has been ranked 7th among India’s top higher education institutions in the category of ‘Diversity, Inclusivity, and Equity’ by the EducationWorld India Higher Education Rankings 2025-26. The university also secured the top position in Meghalaya under the category of Private Multidisciplinary Universities.
The EducationWorld India Higher Education Rankings is the country’s largest and most comprehensive survey on higher education. The rankings are based on field interviews with over 2,100 stakeholders, including senior educators, academic consultants, and education policy experts from across India.
The awards ceremony was held on April 25, at the Grand, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi.
