30 state volunteers visit Kohima for NSS festival

SHILLONG, June 15: A total of 30 NSS volunteers from Iaikyntiew College, Nongthymmai, and St. Xavier’s College, Umoid, Mawkyrwat, proudly represented Meghalaya at the North East NSS Festival 2025, held from June 10 to 14 at Dzüü Resort, Kohima, Nagaland.
Held under the theme of “Viksit Bharat”. the event was hosted by the NSS Cell, Government of Nagaland, and supported by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports.
The festival brought together over 300 NSS volunteers and officers from all eight Northeastern states, featuring technical sessions, leadership workshops, cultural performances, competitions, and a cleanliness drive.
One of the highlight of the event was the vibrant performance by the Meghalaya contingent.
