Man threatens to murder ex-wife
A female resident of a village in West Garo Hills lodged a complaint that her ex-husband and his accomplices uploaded her pictures on various social media platforms and also threatened to kidnap and murder her.
Mentally unwell man attacks two
On June 11, around 8.30 am, a mentally unstable person identified as Dibokstar Kharsyntiew of Pongkun, Mawkynroh Dewsaw, Mawsynram, East Khasi Hills, attacked two persons — Suprius Mohhiew (80) and Dibokstar Kharsyntiew (54) — with a hammer. As a result, the victims sustained injuries and were shifted to CHC Sohra, while the mentally unstable person was taken to MIMHANS, Shillong.
Assault
Masuda Khanin of Sobribari village in West Garo Hills lodged a complaint that on June 10, around noon, one Armina Khatun along with her accomplices of the same village trespassed into her residential compound abused, assaulted and also threatened her with dire consequences.
Scooterist looted
Ronald Bright Kurkalang lodged a complaint that on June 6, around 8.30 pm, miscreant(s) forcibly opened his scooter’s (ML-05U-1257) under-seat storage at Polo Market, Shillong, and stole valuable documents including office ID card, Aadhaar card, EPIC, PAN card, ATM, etc.
