World Suicide Prevention Day
SAN-KER is participating in the worldwide effort to prevent suicide by organizing the 2nd ‘Cycle Around the Globe’ Rally on September 10 which would begin from Mawroh Community Hall at 10 am and end at SAN-KER. There will also be a seminar on ‘Preventing Suicide: Reaching Out and Saving Lives’ on the same day at the KJP Conference Centre opposite U Soso Tham Auditorium, Shillong, at 2 pm.
National Physics seminar
Department of Physics, Lady Keane College, Shillong, will organize a two-day national seminar on “Frontiers in Physics: Commemorating Hundred years of General Relativity” on September 11 and 12. NEHU Vice Chancellor P. Shukla will be the chief guest on September 11 at 10 am in the college auditorium.
Don Bosco past pupils’ meet
The General Durbar (AGM) of Don Bosco Past Pupils’ Association will be held on September 13 at 9 am at Don Bosco Technical School, Laitumkhrah. Past pupils from Salesian run schools and colleges of Shillong and elsewhere are heartily invited to the durbar.
