A Maruti 800 on its way to Shillong from Guwahati was hit by a truck coming from the opposite direction at Ryndangbriew on January 10 at 11:17pm. The truck was trying to overtake another vehicle which was in front when it hit the Maruti. Pai Khongsit (35/male) and Omit Nongbri (32/male) have been admitted to Shillong Civil Hospital by the 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based at Lawmali after these passengers sustained injuries.
