The other day at a Government office at Dhankheti an elderly gentleman had dropped in for a personal work. At the particular branch he found the entire staff crowding at one corner. It did not take him long to realise that they had been visited by a dealer in smuggled goods. A tribal woman dished out an array of consumer items from two huge sidebags she had well concealed under her shawl. Her merchandise included what is fondly called as lipstick, alleged perfumes despicable specimen of imitation jewellery, third-rate cut-pieces of suitings and shirtings, toothbrushes with nauseating colour combination having bristles which could do more harm than any good to the users, etc.
