Mizoram lifts ban on poultry import

Aizawl: Mizoram government on Wednesday lifted the ban on import of poultry from neighbouring states.

A notification issued by the government said that the ban on import of chicken, eggs and other poultry products was lifted after more than a month.

The import ban had been imposed after bird flu was detected in neighbouring states. (PTI)
