No breakthrough into recovery of woman’s body

SHILLONG: East Jaintia Hills Police are yet to make a breakthrough into the recovery of the body of an unidentified female from a coal quarry at Wah Slangwait in the district on April 7.

The quarry is owned by one Denush Siangshai.

East Jaintia Hills SP MK Dkhar said that police have registered a case and are investigating into the matter.

An FIR in this regard was lodged at the Khliehriat Police Station by one Philip Bamon of Rymbai.
