Cameras stolen from Balpakram National Park

SHILLONG: Unknown miscreants stole five Automatic Infrared Trail Cameras from different locations at Balpakram National Park in South Garo Hills between December 7 and January 13 this year.
South Garo Hills SP Lakador Syiem said that no one has been arrested so far but police have got some leads into the incident.
Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, S. Kumar, informed that these cameras had been installed by scholars who were conducting studies inside the Park.
