Marijuana sellers held

KHANAPARA: Members of the Hynniewtrep Youth Council (HYC), North Khasi Hills District on Friday held three persons involved in the illegal trade of selling marijuana.
The sellers were identified as Barlish Pushain of Killing and Nimai Rabha and Bicky Rabha of 8th Mile, Guwahati.
The HYC leaders later handed over the accused to Khanapara Police, who seized around 10 kgs of marijuana leaves from them.
HYC’s NKHD president Amberlight Masharing said that the organization had launched an operation along with Khanapara police and in the evening two more miscreants were nabbed while they were selling marijuana in the locality.
The accused have been identified as Jayanta Chetry and Vicky Saha.
