Mob attacks two alleged thieves in Jaintia Hills

JOWAI: Resident of Ialong village attacked two persons allegedly involved in stealing furniture from a local carpenter’s shop in the village on Friday.
The two were identified as Felix Bthuh and Komal Sonar. The duo was rescued only after the arrival of the Rangbah Shnong who immediately called for police action.
The two injured thieves were arrested and taken to Jowai Civil Hospital for medical treatment.
