Pre-recruitment counselling for police department held

NONGSTOIN: The office of the Superintendent of Police, West Khasi Hills District, in collaboration with the office of the Deputy Commissioner, recently organised a one-day pre-recruitment counselling programme under the Chief Minister’s career guidance scheme at Pyndengumiong Hall Mairang.
The programme, organised on Saturday, aimed to encourage candidates from rural areas who have applied for different posts in the Meghalaya Police to prepare themselves physically and mentally before recruitment.
Around 125 candidates from Mairang civil sub-division participated in the programme. Similar programmes will be conducted at Riangdo and Nongstoin.
