Baniateilang Majaw, son of late Siwer Nailar and late Skein Majaw, a resident of Kutmadan, Sohra has been awarded the degree of doctor of Philosophy in Political Science from NEHU for his thesis, “Climate Change and regional cooperation: South Asian Association for regional cooperation (SAARC)” under the supervision of Dr Munmun Majumdar. He is currently teaching in Seng Khasi College.
