JOWAI: Marki Mulieh who won the last district council election from UDP ticket and who joined BJP recently was elected as the new BJP District President in West Jaintia Hills District on Saturday.
In the meeting, State President, Shibun Lyngdoh, State Morcha President, Golam Mustafa and Organising Secretary Jagdamba Mall and EJH President, Herlington Shadap were also present.
As many as 77 new members were inducted into the party.
