WKH taxi owners ask PWD to repair road

NONGSTOIN: A local taxi owners’ and drivers’ body has demanded immediate repair of the Nongstoin-Darugiri Road that has become a nightmare for commuters.
The road has not been maintained for the past one decade. The Nongstoin Regional Local Taxi Owners’ and Drivers’ Association Mawkhlam Nongpyndeng Unit has urged the Executive Engineer of the PWD (Roads) to act fast.
M. War, General Secretary of the Association told the media here that the department should immediately blacktop the road.
The association has also asked for a footpath from NDSA playground to Ladnongsba.
