Abduction bid
On November 17, Jenden Marak lodged a complaint that around 6 pm, two persons, Habul Islam and Saha Alom took two seventeen –year-old girls in a Maruti Alto car towards Aidoba in South West Garo Hills. However, on reaching Aidoba Market / Aidoba Junction, both the girls managed to jump out of the car and escaped.

Dr. Balinda War of William Carey University, Shillong lodged a complaint that unknown miscreants hacked the website of the University and uploaded spurious information and data in the website in the name of the University.
