SHILLONG: Advocate General BP Todi tendered his resignation from the membership of the High Court of Meghalaya Bar Association on January 16.
The general secretary of the Association in a statement said the membership of Todi was suspended for his alleged “anti-bar Association activities”.
The statement added that a showcause notice was issued to the senior advocate on December 15 last. However, Todi submitted his resignation from the membership of the Bar without replying to the showcause notice.
