SHILLONG: The State Election Committee of UDP has released the seventh list of candidates on Friday with two candidates.
The candidates are Amos Dkhar from Musniang Rngat Constituency, East Jaintia Hills and Jambor War from Mawthadraishan Constituency, West Khasi Hills.
So far the UDP has gone ahead in declaring candidates for the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) and Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council (JHADC).
The selection of candidates for six seats for Shillong city and East Jaintia Hills were completed, in West Jaintia Hills out of 20 seats, 5 are left, while candidates for all the 11 seats in East Khasi Hills have been declared.
Candidates for two seats in South West Khasi Hills have been declared. Candidate for only Jirang constituency is yet to be declared in Ri-Bhoi district.
