State may review power cuts due to board exams

SHILLONG: The state government may review the ongoing load shedding in the state in view of the upcoming board examinations.
A senior official with the Power department said that the government is concerned over the outage affecting the people.
The state is yet to clear pending dues to NEEPCO and other entities.
The official informed that Power Minister James Sangma had recently written to NEEPCO to tide over the crisis.
