NEHU hosts three-day natl training

SHILLONG: The North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) and National Institute of Disaster Management, Ministry of Home Affairs, launched a three-day online national training programme on ‘Earthquake Risk Mitigation’ which started on Wednesday.
Altogether 1,305 participants attended the programme. The participants, including NEHU vice-chancellor SK Srivastava, deliberated on integrated measures to tackle nature’s fury, besides other topics related to earthquakes.
