Police seize coal trucks in EGH

TURA, Jan 27: Two coal-laden trucks were seized in East Garo Hills Wednesday for illegally transporting the mineral without valid documents.
According to police, the two trucks were detected at 2:30 pm by a patrol team at Rongkhem area, which immediately seized the vehicles after their drivers were unable to produce relevant documents.
Police further informed that a case has been registered under relevant sections of law at Williamnagar Police Station and further investigation is on.
The seized vehicles are being kept at Chiading Police Station for safe custody.
