Body found hanging from tree in JH

SHILLONG, Nov 15: A male body was found hanging from a tree in Cham Cham village in Jaintia Hills by the police after they were alerted by the village headman on November 12 morning.
After receiving the information, police personnel from Ladrymbai outpost were deputed to cause an inquiry at the place of occurrence.
During inquiry, it was learned that the body belonged to a 53-year-old (approximately) male who was 5.3 feet tall, had dark complexion and was built thin.
Inquest was conducted and after all formalities, the body was sent to Civil Hospital Khliehriat for post-mortem examination.
