One convicted for offence under POCSO in WKH

NONGSTOIN, Dec 21: One Phering Lyngdoh was sentenced by the Court of Special Judge (POCSO), West Khasi Hills, to five years of rigorous imprisonment with a fine of Rs 10,000 for an offence punishable under Section 10 of POCSO Act.
The accused was also convicted for an offence under Section 363 IPC, and sentenced to a year of rigorous imprisonment with fine of Rs 1,000.
