It may be mentioned that the party, so far, has released 46 candidates including 16 from Garo Hills.
Sangma is a graduate in Business Management and the party is lucky to have another well-qualified candidate within its fold. When asked about the UDP aspect in Garo Hills, Dkhar said that he is not in a position to predict now as he is scheduled to tour Garo Hills after February 9.
But as of now, the party has a strong chance of winning in North Tura, South Tura, Rongjeng, Rajabala, Mendipathar and Resubelpara, he said.
