Founding Director of NEPA no more

SHILLONG, Feb 22: Founding Director of the North Eastern Police Academy (NEPA), Aftab Ahmed Ali, a retired Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, passed away after a brief illness, on Thursday afternoon.
He was 90.
Ahmed Ali had worked ceaselessly to set up the NEPA in Umsaw village, Ri Bhoi, in 1978.
