Raphael Warjri from Meghalaya (R) during the Bharat-Bangla Art Fest, which was organised by the Bangladesh Artists Group and Santiniketan Kala Bhavan Praktoni from July 7-12. Hosted by the Academy of Fine Arts in Kolkata, the international art festival featured over 200 paintings and a dozen sculptures from 117 artists, including Warjri. Among the highlights are the by Jogen Choudhury and Janak Jhankar Narzari from India, and K M A Quayyum and Prof Hamiduzzaman Khan from Bangladesh.
