SHILLONG: The state karate team bagged two silver and one bronze medal in recently concluded KAI Sub Junior and Senior National Karate Championship held at Talkotara Indoor Stadium, New Delhi from June 10–13, 2019. The medal winners are Daniel Dabiangbha Warjri (Silver) in Boys 10 Yrs +35 Kg Ind Kumite, Lakhon Lanong (Silver) in Boys 12 Yrs Ind Kata and Bandana Wahlang (Bronze) in Women +68 Kg Ind Kumite. The team was led by Sensei Donboklang Lyngdoh, Sensei Arjun Sewa & Sensei Linza F. Syiem.
