Accident victim succumbs to injury

SHILLONG: One person, who was injured after being hit by a two-wheeler at Khyndailad on Wednesday, succumbed to his injuries at NEIGRIHMS on Friday night.
According to police, Samiran Dutta was hit by Dapyooki Dkhar who was driving a two-wheeler. The accident occurred when the rider who was coming from GS Road took a U-turn at Khyndailad to enter Police Bazar. In the process, he hit the pedestrian.
Dutta’s condition was critical and he succumbed to his injuries. It was alleged that the rider did not possess a driving license. An FIR has been filed in this connection.
