Annie Jane C Mawkhiew has been awarded PhD by NEHU, Tura Campus, for her thesis ‘The Politics of Representation in Prophetic Literature: A Study of the Writings of Friedrich Niezsche, Paulo Coelho and Khalil Gibran’. She is the vice principal and the HoD (English department) at Khadsawphra College and Higher Secondary School, Mairang. Mawkhiew is the daughter of Cambridge Shylla and Sarah Jane Mawkhiew, and the wife of Badon Kupar Lyngdoh.
Kundan Saha has been awarded the PhD in Chemistry by the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati for his thesis entitled ‘Application of Nanofluidic Confinement for Chemical Reactions and Energy Excavation’. He carried out his research work under the supervision of Dr. Kalyan Raidongia, Department of Chemistry, IIT Guwahati. He has also dedicated his achievement to his father Gokul Saha, mother Ratna Saha and sister Mousumi Saha. He is a resident of Tura, West Garo Hills
